About
I began my career as a motion graphic designer in the mid noughties. It was the catalyst that started my evolution into film making and directing. The family Handicam was often a creative outlet when I was a kid, but I was drawn to graphic design in the late 90s/early 00s because I’d always excelled in fine art at school. In the year 2000 I discovered After Effects. Initially it was a tool to make graphic design move, but I soon realised I can add photos, videos and music and manipulate them with graphics…Et voila, the journey began.
I’m one half of directing duo ‘Autobahn’, directing commercials, documentaries and branded content for production companies internationally. We have worked with agencies such as WPP, M&C Saatchi, TBWA, Leo Burnett, Drum, Ogilvy and Publicis, and for many brands including Puma, Betano, Google, Dove and Casio, creating films in all corners of the world, and winning a few awards along the way.
As a film director and motion designer, I’ve somehow managed to balance creative fulfilment with making a living and raising a family. I’m not unique in that sense, but I feel lucky and privileged to do what I do.
